Drive your Car!
The battery inside your car will start to slowly trickle down and die when left to its own devices...(it also dies faster when there is heat involved). That’s why you need to give your car’s battery a jolt every now and then. So, start up your engine and go for a short drive around downtown Dubai or Dubai Marina, that should give it the charge it needs.
Roll those tires
Another benefit of driving your car every once in a while is that your tires don’t develop a flat spot. That flat spot ruins your tires and shortens their life. Meaning you will have to replace them sooner.
Pump tires up
Gradually tire starts to lose pressure. It's just how nature deals with pressure it lets it all out. So, when you go for one of those drives, check the pressure and inflate if necessary. another remedy for the flat spot.
Check the oil level
New cars tend to burn oil faster as it takes time till all the gears and mechanical equipment start to mesh smoothly. So, check that oil level, finding out you have been driving around with no oil is not good.
Change your car’s oil
Whether you are using your car or not, the oil inside it will start to breakdown and lose its lubricating powers. It is generally recommended to change the oil every 5,000km or 3 months depending on the grade of oil that your car uses. So check on your oil or have someone get a good look at it.
Keep your car clean
Dust, bird poo, bugs, and tree sap ruins your cars’ paint, and if left uncleaned for a long while the paint can get damaged to the extent it requires professional repairs done it. So wash your car regularly and keep those windows closed.
Fill the fuel tank up
An empty fuel tank promotes Condensation to form inside it, and that leads to corrosion. Having a rusted and damaged fuel tank is no cheap repair so it is best to avoid it.
